Press a designated key once to toggle crouching/walking rather than having to hold the key down, and remove camera tilting when strafing left and right. All options configurable and you can disable anything you don't want.

Extract archive to your Dark Messiah of Might and Magic Single Player folder. When navigating to mm\cfg folder you should be able to see the autoexec.cfg that was extracted and a config.cfg file which is your normal configuration file.



Installing & Configuring

1. Start your game like normal and make sure all your settings are as you want them to be, then exit out. Note that if you want to disable the camera tilting when strafing left/right then you'll also need to make sure to disable headbobbing in the gameplay settings.

2. Open up config.cfg in a text editor, scroll all the way to the bottom and put "exec autoexec.cfg" without quotes. Then save and close the file, and right-click->properties->check the read-only box. After this you won't be able to change settings, so if you change your mind later then uncheck the read-only box, change your settings ingame and then redo this step.

3. Open up autoexec.cfg in a text editor and you'll see the 3 options. By default crouch toggle is set to CTRL, walk toggle is set to ALT, and no-tilt strafing is included. To remove crouch toggle delete the top 4 lines, to remove walk toggle delete the next 4 lines after, and to remove no-tilt strafing delete the last line. If you have headbobbing enabled in your settings then you should delete the last line since headbobbing and the no-tilt strafing option aren't compatible.

4. To change the key used for crouch/walk toggling, open up config.cfg again and look near the top for some key binding examples. Find the key you want and replace either the CTRL or ALT for crouching/walking respectively. Make sure to leave the "bind" and "tc/tw" surrounding text alone and only replace the key.



And that should be it, open your game up and give it a go.
