Have you ever wondered what happened to helmetless Crusader from the earlier DD posters? Why did he never show his face again?

Well, he became so distraught with the "fight for good" that he turned to the darkness to find his strength. By channeling his fear, his hatred, and disdain, he was able to find the strength to face the Darkest Dungeon, he became a dreadful Blackguard.

He shares similar HP, attack and defense with the original Crusader class, with a different set of attack skills.

Skewer - Melee/Attack one target.

Soul Siphon - Ranged/Attack enemy and steal life for himself.

Ravage - Melee/Attack two enemies.

Intimidate - Melee/Stun 1 enemy, Push enemy.

Ray of Darkness - Ranged/Attack 1 enemy from the back of the party, causes darkness.

Gather Hatred - Melee/Guard, Mark Self

Death Shade - Ranged/Summons a devilish fiend to attack for him. Hellion Exhaust/Mortal Weakness/Mark Self/Causes Darkness, BUT causes a lot of damage.

NOTE - The animation for Death Shade still needs a bit of work and will be updated later.

EDIT: I almost forgot, Blackguard acts similarly to Abomination, and because of his evil ways, will not team up with religious heroes.
