About this mod
Shortens the 'mega intro' story video to bring looser context to the starting train crash scene, a bit quicker.
- Permissions and credits
Features:
• Removes the appearances of the 4 Vault Hunters from the game's intro video, making the video more generic and applicable to Gaige and Krieg as well.
• Removes the skag's being dragged/tortured by the Bandit Technical.
• Supports the 6 languages from the original, and subtitles if they are enabled in-game.
Video preview:
(Disclaimer: There may be ads added to this preview because of a YouTube copyright notice about the audio - this is not my doing, and I won't be getting anything out of it. The mod, of course, does not include any ads.)

To install: Drag and drop the two extracted files into your installed "Borderlands 2 -> WillowGame -> Movies" folder, overwriting the originals (after backing them up first).
[Update: For users of the 2019 Ultra HD Texture Pack DLC, you will additionally find a 4K version of the MegaIntro video in a sub-folder of the 'Mancana' DLC (found under your installed "Borderlands 2 -> DLC" folder). Renaming that video file by adding "_skip" to the end of the file name will prevent the 4K version from playing, and the game will instead play the standard version from this mod. I do not currently plan to remake this mod for 4K.]
To uninstall: Restore the original files from your backup location to their original location, overwriting the modded files.
[Update: For users of the 2019 Ultra HD Texture Pack DLC, remove the "_skip" you would have added to the file name according to the installation instructions above, to restore the 4K version.]
Optional feature:
• Conveys the intro publisher and developer logos in 4 seconds.
To apply this, download and extract the optional 'Short_logos' zip, and follow the same installation/uninstallation instructions as above. (I also recommend renaming the file named 'NVidia' in the 'Movies' folder to 'NVidia_skip', unless you want to see the NVidia logo at launch every time.)
[Update: For users of the 2019 Ultra HD Texture Pack DLC, there will be additional 4K versions of the intro videos in the 'Movies' folder that you will need to rename/move out of this folder, in order for the standard modded videos to play. I do not currently plan to make 4K versions of the short intros.]
