Co-Op Campaign Mod

WARNING
This mod modifies MP map game files. Make sure to keep a backup of your games files before replacing them. Additionally, the levels are obviously not designed for Co-Op play and you may or may not be able to progress to the end of the level.

How to install
Pick from either the Alien, Predator or Marine levels. They replace the game's original 6 MP maps.

Level 1 replaces Gateway
Level 2 replaces Jungle
Level 3 replaces Pyramid
Level 4 replaces Refinery
Level 5 replaces Ruins
Level 6 replaces Temple

You don't have to have all 6 be levels from the same species, I.E. Level 1 can be Marine, Level 2 Alien, etc..

For example, if you want to play Alien Level 1 (Lab), in the mod files, go to Alien > 1 - Lab
Copy all of the files.
Find your game installation.
For Steam users, go to Steam Games > steamapps > common. You will find it there.
Go to Aliens Vs Predator > Envs > MP
Paste the files.

How to uninstall
Ensure you have back up files of the game's original MP maps.
Simply copy and paste the backups into the same folder and, when prompted, choose to overwrite the files.
If you fail to back up your files, you will have to reinstall your game to revert.

How to play
Make sure you have at least one friend who has also installed the same files as you.
Host a multiplayer game on the MP map you have replaced with the level you want to play. (E.g. Alien Level 1 replaces Gateway)
Wait for your friend to join.
Make sure everyone in the lobby has the same files. I have no idea what happens if you all have different files (I'm going to assume a game crash)
Select the species that you would normally play as in the level. Other species do not work.
Start the game.
The game should work well for the host however other players will probably experience various issues with level structuring.
The game will still think that it is a multiplayer match, so if your game is set to a DM, there will be a score counter, respawns, among other things.
Enjoy!

Note:
I am not the first to do this. This was very little effort on my part and moreso a sizeable investment of time. I was largely inspired to do this by JustConnor on YouTube. If you enjoy this, please endorse it as it means a lot. Have a nice day, and Happy Hunting!
